Kanoor Fort (Kanur Kote)

This place with a old fort in the middle of the dense forest is the center of attraction. Also Known as KeLadi Kote. Kote stands for Fort in Kannada. KeLadi is the name of the dynasty who ruled the place.
  On the way to Bhatkal from Sagar via Talaguppa and Kargal, 20+kms after Kargal you will get a place called Hosagadde, you will get down there and walk around 6-8 kms to reach a waterfall called Dabbe Falls. After that it is around 8+kms trek to the fort and from there about 8kms to the Gersoppa colony. Another route from there takes to a place called Bhimeshwari which is around 22kms from the fort. After Kanoor village the human inhabited place is just few kilometers before the fort.  Food and tentage you must carry.

Talakalale Dam (Reservoir)

Talakalale is a balancing reservoir of Linganamakki dam which get its water supply from Linganamakki. It is a beautiful place and less crowded suitable for one day picnic. Do not try to get into the water as it is dangerous.

Kattale Kaanu

Katthale Kaanu, 7 kms from Jog falls, means “Dark Forest” in kannada.  It is a long stretch of dense, ever green forest of about 20 kms. It is so thick that penetration of sunlight is difficult and will be dark even in the noon. It has many varieties of plants, exotic herbs, wild animals. It is a place for trekkers. You can also enjoy scenic beauty of nature from hilltop and enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunset.



  
KalSanka

Kallu Sanka means "Stone Bridge". It is a very rare natural formation of a bridge  out of a single piece of stone. There are only four natural bridges in the world, out of which two are in India - one in Thirupathi and another one is this. Please do not miss to see this wonder of nature which is just 8 kilo meter away from JogFalls. Towards Sagar, Karnataka. An unexplored place and a must see place.
