is located in a pristine part of the Western Ghats and is known for the
richness of its flora and fauna. It is located at a distance of 60 km from
Karwar in Uttar Kannada district. The park spans across an area of 340 sqThis

It has the rare
distinction of being the only park in Asia where Black Panther is found
naturally. Anshi National Park has a variety of species of mammals and

ideal home ground for species such as elephants, tigers, deer, black panthers,

south eastern boundary of the Park is the Chenna Basaveshwara Temple, which is
a popular tourist attraction. If one is planning to stay in the park then
unfortunately they will have to change their mind and stay at Dandeli because
accommodation is not possible inside the park. If people want to stay inside
the park, they should plan for trekking as camps are available for trekkers..
